What color/texture works better?
Right now i am making speaker munts for my door out if fiberglass and im looking for a vinyl covering that will match best with my interior colo and texture. I have a gray interior so since i cant closely match the gray, im thinking of going with black for this. This will replace the factory speaker mount and the pocket thats n the side of the front door by the speaker.
Im looking on Parts Express at the prices of their vinyl for speaker boxes. Im not sure exactly which one I should get.
One option would be this black cabinet vinyl finish. Im guessing this would most closely resemble the texture of the gray door that i have in my 99 civic:

The link being http://www.partsexpress.com/pe...0-761
The second option would be the pebble finish

Are thre any other places on the internet that would have a better type of vinyl?
Any info/help is appreciated

I have always been able to find exactly what I needed, from same color and texture to same color but diff. texture, or diff. color and same texture, or something compleatly diff. but a good contrast to what is already there.
Also in diff. thicknesses with and without backing, depending on what kind of surface I was trying to cover. EG: if you are dealing with a very uneven area, where you have to upholster around corners/large rounded areas, you do not want a thick, cheese cloth backed naugahyde.

i think ifound exactly what i need, the guy at the auto trim store had a book that had samples from every type of import car so he pulled it out and it mateched perfectly. i need the Honda CFGrey that was in his book. ill have to look again to see how thick it is tho to see if ill get it from there or on the net(since i know the type of grey it is)
it did look like it had a type of cloth on the back but im not sure if thats just for the sample book or not. if its part of it, is it possible to take it off of the back?

what do you personally think? the vinyl that I found that is the 'exact' OEM vinyl('exact' meaning aftermarket but it exactly matches my doors) or should I go with somethin the contrasts like black vinyl?
i emailed the actual company asking if i was able to peal the backing off. if i use the OEM color vinyl i hope i can peal the back off.
