Default Help Weird Front Bumper on 99 EX.

My friend got Fog Lights on his 2000 Civic Si and the light output is impressive.

I went to try to get some for my car when I noticed my front bumper fog lights are oriented differently. His are horizontal like normal civics but mine are vertical.
I thought 99 and 00 were the same front bumper style.

My front bumper look's like

while his looks like

I can't find fog lights that someone has with my style front bumper.

the way you cut into the bumper for the fog lights makes it look different. but if you were to take the foglights off of that second car it would look just like the first one (except with holes in it). 99-00 civic front bumpers were, in fact, the same. just your mind playing tricks on you

They are not the same...

One is a vertical Hole
One is a horizontal Hole.

Ther Vertical (Bottom picture) looks sooo much nicer.

The only difference is the way they were cut out. They are the same exact bumper. If you'd like to change how it was cut, you need a new bumper.

they really are the same, except the bottom picture with the foglights also have a little plastic plate on them that are attached to the foglights.

http://www.passwordjdm.com/pop...e=JDM EK apostrophemark99-apostrophemark00 Civic Fog Lights (Yellow)

maybe thats why it looks different, take of the complete fog light + housing and you'll see they are the same

Because whoever cut yours is stupid.

The parts that are cut out on yours are not supposed to be cut out. They're supposed to be black, and peak out through the window on the foglight bezel.

Man, you're simple.

There's nothing different about your bumper. Yours is stock and unmodified. The one that is different has foglights in it with a black bezel.

How do you not fall down more?

Yes but the cut out is up to down not right to left.
So Foglights will look retarded in it.

No, you look retarded.

There is nothing different out those two bumpers, and your bumper is not magically unique and special. Neither are you, for that matter. No matter what your kindergarten teacher told you.

MOMY TOLD ME I AM SPECIAL! you bastards..lol

I thought my car got a different bumper. One from a hatchback or DX or something.

The reason why I am saying that is that if you look at both my head lights one looks brand new crystal clear the other is a little foggy. I already found out my front left fender is not the original OEM, its a Jaber replacement.

Looking at the PDF file and I realize that you make the cut out... I thought it fits in the black plastic part.... Ooopsss
