type-r tranny>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>us dm type-s tranny

i have blown my 2nd gear, cracked a bell housing, snapped 2 shafts, and broken 2 synchro's

so what do you think of durability of the usdm tranny's now?

I can't belive that RSX's don't come with LSD. So what do they have. Both wheels spin, right? But it's not a true LSD?

no both wheels dont spin, thats the function of the limited slip differential, it puts power to the ground from both wheels.

yea, but i dont how good it is. I havent had any truoble, wel major trouble with my tranny. I just have a major issuse with getting the gears to go in. 2nd gear is the hardest i have to slam it in, but for the most part i think the usdm tranny is pretty nice.

i heard it helps a ton
i haven't tried it yet but then again, i don't really have any problems getting into gear
also, a shortshifter, cable bushing, and shifter bushings can help

I'll see what Acura says then I'll post. I don't want to mess with anything myself since my warranty is goo till 62,000 miles and I only have 18,500.

Yeah, got 2 becareful. You know that the type-s are known for the 2nd and 3rd problems. I'll let you know what they say. I'll bring it in like in two weeks then I'll post. MAKE SURE YOU USE YOUR WARRANTY WHILE YOU HAVE IT.
