if it had bad rings, wouldnt i have some drivability issues as well?? i dont have any drivibility issues, so assume i have bad valve guide seals.. any1 wanna input on this?

 

Ususally there arent driveability issues..it just smokes a lot and might feel sluggish. How many miles are on it? Have you done a compression test? thats a good place to start.

what type of oil are you using along with the viscosity? (ie.-> 5w-30, 10w-30, ,etc..

 

2 quarts every 200 miles, gross isnt it?? 10w30.. i already took out the motor.. i was just wondering if its safe to use the head.. cuz my bro's head on his d series is fucked the cam scored up the head and now it's fucked..

 

probablt a bad head gasket, check the oil pan gasket as well, my del sol has the same problem
