Default I did 125mph on a residential

no, not really. i'm not that dumb...but my speedometer is actin up. it would go up to the actual speed im going but will never go back down when i deccelerate; so it would add up my speeds every time i stop and go. has this ever happened to anyone before? i'm thinking the cold might have something to do w/ it.

I was about to say you better put on a flame suit. I think its your Speed Sensor wires or the Speed Sensor teeth are messed up. Happened to me when I was learning to drive stick on my Integra.

speed sensor...is that the cable coming from the gauge cluster goin to the tranny? how do i fix it if it's "messed up?"

The VSS works on 5 volt pulses, spin one tire and check for the pulse on the VSS wire in the gauge cluster. Could be a wire on the back of the manifold grounding out. The manual has a VSS troubleshooting section.
