Few questions on fixing '90 CRX Si -- CV Axle, Body Paint, sudden limit at 3000rpm
My lease car is about to expire and I am trying to bring back my 1990 CRX Si to life again. Any help will be appreciated.
I am hearing major click sounds from both of my front axles when I turn.
I am thinking about taking it to Pep Boys for fix. Replacing these axles and CV boots... How much would it cost?
The car has some rust spots and holes around rear fenders and doors. I am thinking to taking the car to one of those chain paint shops... I am not looking for super quality body and paint job.... but How much would it cost and are the quality reasonably good?
The Car runs normally for about few miles and suddenly the rpm won't go over 3000. I press the gas and it seems like the car is limiting my gas. I can only go for 65mph with 3000rpm. Anything under that rpm, it works normal. I am thinking fuel filter... but any other ideas? The shop near by checked with thier computer..., but they said they get codes that aren't in the code list. They can't figure it out.
