Default Question about dc2 side markers (searched)

How is it wired does it stay on and blink? whats the right way???

There is no right way it's just a matter of preference. I have smoked side markers on my teg and I have them to blink. I just tapped off of the front blinkers.

did yours have 3 wires? mine does..

There is no 'right' way to do it. The 'right' way would be hooking them up to where the function, period. The 'OEM' way (I think that's what you're talking about) is where the sidemarkers would only light up when the turn signal has been turned on.

I'm not familiar with DC2 wiring though, so I wouldn't be able to tell you how accomplish the OEM way.

what i did on my dc2; coz the side markers only has 2 wires, so i just tapped the two wires from the side marker to the little bulb on the bumper corner light...it stays on when u turn on ur park or headlight and it blinks when u turn on the blinkers....its a very easy wiring thing......good luck i hope i help

3 wires, that's odd. Can you post a pic of them? That doesn't sound like OEM sidemarkers.

OEM sidemarkers use 194 bulbs, which take only 2 wires, since there is only 1 filament. They should function as turn signals only, if you want them to look completely factory.

yea I know thats odd I bought the front from H motors online.. I'll post pics as soon as I can thanks for your help...
