Default Installing oil pump seal - it sucks. Any tips?

I'm installing a new oil pump seal. The old one's out, and the new one is installed wrong, with about half of the inner lip flipped out. I lubed everything up well, and I ghetto pressed it in with the timing belt parts, a cut oil cap, a socket, a breaker bar, and some leverage. How the hell do I install this without (further) breaking it? Please give me some advice! This is such a pain in the ***!
