Default Back Fire in between shifts! Please Help!

Last night I was driving home on interstate for about an hour. After I got off and stopped at the first red light it started idling at about 1300 rpms. Then when I tried to go it almost bogged and had a big loss of power. When I shifted into 2nd there was a small back fire. After I got into 3rd it was fine, you couldnt tell anything was wrong. But everytime I stopped..... same thing! It only back fired going into 2nd. Anybody know whats goin on? Thanks in advance! Oh, its a 96 LS B18B.

I replace them about 2 months ago with NGK Type Rs. I did get some gas last night at a place that has had bad gas before. Could that have anything to do with it?

My car has been idling funny for a while and I just figured I need to clean my FITV and AICV, which I am about to try to do.

Pull the valve cover and make sure your timing belt didn't skip a tooth on your cam gears. Make sure the cams and crank line up properly. Make sure the oil seals around the plugs are doing there job, meaning, no oil on plugs/wires. While your there, check the plugs and wires, dist. cap and rotor., and ign timing.
