Default Stolen********01 nhbp #989

Houston / Galleria area. 01 nhbp ITR #989. 76k miles.
just got insurance on the car and the title in my name as of last week. i think it's coincidental as hell that i registered the car for a TX title and within a week it's gone. i've lived at this apartment complex for almost a year and have never heard of a car getting stolen from here. it is gated and you have to have a code to enter. i was not followed inside the gate last night. woke up at 630am to go to work and it's gone. Houston people be on the lookout. the car had a mugen TL , that i kept receipts for. I have full coverage with USAA. not really looking to get a new car, so i hope this one is found. still can't believe this is what i have to deal with today. car was bought in addicks in 05, then registered in louisiana, now i have a title coming in the mail for TX and the car is prob in pieces all over TX by now. i had a viper alarm on it too. . pm me if you know anything you dont want to share. also worth noting is the parking lot has cameras mounted at certain spots, so i dont know if they were turned on or work at all, but im on my way to the front office now to find out. later.

Damn that sucks. Hopefully the parking lot camera's will help catch the thieves and get you your R back.

This **** is getting ridiculous again.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully the video footage can be used to help the police locate your car. I would be very interested to know how the hell they got into your apartment complex.
Keep us posted with any updates.

Fack x 89x10^34

If they find him... make sure you drive a nail through one of his nuts. If he has any.

Is there a "hot list" of stolen, number'd ITRs on H-T? If there isn't, there should be....

that sucks...
but leaving an ITR outside no matter how it's protected... spells one thing.

Oh yeah... It must be Spring time.

...filed the paperwork, bout 1 hr nonstop on the phone with cops and insurance. then random people from work chiming in with their smart remarks via txt message. now off to enterprise rental car to get something. i also notified the apt. complex and the mgr should be calling me. i can prob get my rent reduced if i play my cards right. talk about a crappy day to wake up to. i keep the lowest profile too. i never go to meets, malls, clubs with this car, plus you have to type in a 4 digit code to actually get in this place, unless you piggy back behind a car that knows the code. oh well, 989 chalk it up as gone.

I wanna say there was a thread a while back of an R getting stolen & the motor was not running for some reason. I really think these low lifes have more access to roll back wreckers than we realize. Sorry for the loss.

i said viper, but it's really a python alarm, got confused. doors were armed, trunk. that's about it. your basic $250 alarm with power lock feature. i chirped the car at 10pm, went to sleep. no broken glass anywhere. neighbor went to see a movie at midnight, thought he saw someone in the car that looked like me ( white, blonde hair), then he did a double take and no one was there, so he just thought he was seeing things at 2-3 in the morning. i had every record kept in the car in a journal, every receipt for major services. even jotted phone numbers of acura places i liked to get it serviced at. it had sirius satellite in it. it was a fun car, but i feel burned. no idea what im gonna get next.

i think it was hot wired, bc how my apartment is setup, there is a big bar that blocks access to tall trucks coming on our upper deck of the parking garage. i live on the third floor and the parking garage deck is on the 2nd floor. so i park there and walk up one flight. it wasn't towed. it must have been wired. it's a small complex 100 units. nice cars everywhere, they say im the first car stolen at this property.. leave it to a itr to take that record.
