Also I need your opinions. I have never used it before. Is it worth it compared to regular synthetic?

I'm in Socal so I cant tell you where to get the stuff but I can tell you its the best that I have used. I used to be a hardcore lucas buyer but I decided to try out RP and have kept with it for about 3 oil changes so far. Good stuff

NAPA autoparts stocks it, and so do many PEPboys. go to the royal purple site, theres a list of dealers there.

Thanks for the help! I found it at O'Reilly's However I am still not convinced weather it is worth the 7.29 per quart that they are asking.

Does anyone have a link to an unbiased test of synthetic oil brands handy? I'm curious about Royal Purple. I'm sure it's pretty good stuff, but the name seems better suited for a soda pop than engine oil. I'm currently using dino oil but I am considering switching to synthetic. Thanks.

On TI there's an oil thread, do a search for it. Amsoil is one of the best by far, royal purple is good but it cant hold a candle to Amsoil.

royal purple runs really nice and i did feel a change in engine performance ... cleaner in my opinion but dont take my word for it ... try it out ... i hear greddy makes a better one though you have to be using a higher performance engine ... up to you
