I want to prove my friend wrong that there are 12 sec honda's or acuras that are all motor and street legal. Is there anyone that could help me out with this chevy guy. He says that u cant do it for less than 30Grand but im sure u can.

 

yeah its super possible.. i dont know about smog legal
but it can be street driven daily driven at 30mpg.
we just put in a B20/VTEC exospeed.com STAGE 3 package in it.
stock everything else... just I/H/E.
that thing pulls, pushes, flips you sideways as it launches man!
im sure its in the mid 12's easily.

i have a 88 hf w/b18c that's about 5 grand i'm getting jun's in a month so i should be in 12's plus with the cams i'm also getting a jun head so for sure i'll be in 12's so it's less then 30k less then 10 k but i can't prove it untill sept. 10 sears point race i'll be ready i better be

my friend has a ITR that ran a 12.9 last time i checked and its street legal well sorta its street drivable NA also

 

my 87 could run 12s with a fatter slick. it passed emissions no problems and i drive it everyday. motor setup in the car cost approx. $7000.

 

aem intake stock header no exhaust 13.9 street tires very lucky i was running 14.2 all days one run i just got traction

 

Thats a great site with a good story about the car. Unfortunately he is having lots of trouble tring to keep it together....I anticipate his new motor!!!!

 

HXMan on here has a 12 second setup that's an NA B20VTEC. My setup is mirroring his except for a few extra things I'm doing in my stripped out CRX so it will easily be a 12 second street car that's NA.

 

I was told the setup I am building right now show be high 12's with it being in basically stock trim. But I thinking about sprayin a little bit.

 

Hmm street leagal in what country?? In Japan I can pass every test they through at my CR-X and it makes some serious power..with the 1.8 that its has... But wait untill it get the 2.2 in that car hhhehhheh . . .also I'll be running the car for the 1st time here in July up at Fuji Speed way...I'm hoping for at least 12.7 @ 175+kmph
