Well, after having my car parked for a while, a mouse made a home in the heater core.

Without going nuts with a razor, how do I get the heater hoses off the core at the fire wall? The simply will not budge for me.

OR

Is there a way to take the plastic housing for the heater apart without taking it out of the car?

 

grab it tight and twist, becareful though, i broke the valce becasue i grabbed too hard

 

Are you sure it made it into the heater core? Or do you mean the blower? The blower unit is where most of them go. Re the heater core, I replaced my core hoses w/regular heater hose cut to size, alot cheaper. I had to take a knife, like a sheetrock knife and cut the hoses, then twist them off.

 

Yeah, they made a nest from the blower housing through to the heater core.


Guess i will cut up the hoses.
