whats good honda-tech...im havin a problem i got a singal non vtec and i started the car and it stalled out on me and shut off...i changed the fuel filter and the fuel pump...i changed the spark plugs..and that the only thing ive done..any body else have an idea of what can be wrong with it...???

Are you throwing any cel's (check engine lights)?
Are your battery and alternator connections good/tight?
Does it stay running if you feather the throttle?
Is the air filter clean?

There could be a **** ton of things wrong...no one can diagnose the problem based on "the **** starts but does not stay on"

THE CEL LIGHT IS ON AND THESE ARE THE CODES I GOT THE O2 SENSORS THE SPEED SENSOR...THE ATMOPHRIC SENSOR..

 

maybe ur idle is too low........................................

 

YEAH IVE BEEN GETTIN THAT ANSWER BUT THE THING IS THAT I CAN REV IT AND IT STILL SHUT OFF..

 

Timing might be off. did you check all the fuses?? Turn off your Caps button

 

when you start it hold the petal to the floor if it starts to redline real quick then the timings good. if its good then check fuel system, air intake, or see if your cat is clooged (very very unlikely). if it doesnt start to redline and it gets up to 4000rpm or less then theres something in your ignition thats making it run on 3-2 cylinders. if this happends then check dist. spark plug wires- make sure there all in and pushed down tight, and plugs all or one of them could be way way off. that happend to my buddy's car
