what are some good aftermarket sleeves to run turbo??

You need to do some more searching on this website because there are tons of threads about sleeves and who liked who.......Personally I like Benson, GE, and AEBS all three are proven to last and hold up in racing and street/strip. Goodluck, you will have to look around a lot more to answer your question since it's really personal preference.

The people who use a certain brand of sleeves are going to say they kick *** if their car is still running, or say they suck if their engine failed while using them.

If you planned to do the work yourself, then you probably wouldn't be asking this question. I'd research local engine builders and see what they use. Buy from them and if something goes wrong, you're in a much better situation than you would be had you brought in your own parts.
