Where to buy a locking cylinder for driver side door handle?
Though...I've tried ebay...but there doesn't seem to be any luck. My locking cylinder for my driver side door got damaged when someone tried to jack my car...it looks as if they shoved a screw driver in the key hole and tried to pry the handle off...instead it only damaged the locking cylinder and cracking the handle.
I was thinking about going to a junk yard to see if they'll have door handles with the locking cylinder.
I've also heard that a locking cylinder can be reseted so that my current key can fit in it, is this true? ANd where can I get a locking cylinder resetted?

yes you can find them at junk yard or from the dealership. And yes you can have them set for your current key but a professional locksmith will have to do it and of course he will charge a professional fee. A guy i work with had the samething happen but he opted to have a keyless entry installed that way it dont matter that that key doesnt work (someone shoved sawdust and glue in his key hole)
If you can use the ones from a DA, I'm parting the car. I'll send you both sides for $5 plus the shipping and make a copy of the key and send that along too. I'm already pulling the doors apart for window attachment brackets and the door latch, so it's already just hanging there.
