How low should I go?
I don't what springs I should buy? I'm considering 3 different heights.
Nuespeed sofsport: -.75 inches front and rear
Neuspeed Sport: -2.0 front and -1.8 rear
Eibach Pro-Kit: -1.2 front and -1.0 rear
I NEED all the opinions you can give.. here's a pic of the car.

You will still have wheel gap if you go with any of those springs. If you dont mind having the gap. then I would suggest the Neuspeed Sports. Mainly cause thats the lowest you can go without having to purchase a camber kit. If it were up to me, I would get H&R or Neuspeed Race springs. Coilovers ride extremely hard.
It isnt too bad installing them....just takes a while if its your first time. Just make sure to use a spring compressor, especially if your removing the OEM springs.
Ok so the 2" drop from the neuspeed sport springs won't require me to get a camber kit... THAT'S GREAT! Another thing I won't have to worry about.. Yes, I still want wheel well gap but less.
Anyone else with a 2" drop, do things hit the bottom of your car fairly often or is it still a reasonable amount of ground clearance?

HAM that ****** man!
Sprint Extreme RX series - 3.25" drop
**** camber kits, don't waste the money.
out of the three you listed, i'd get the Sports. DON'T get the Eibach Pro-Kits, had them on my sedan and they're as soft as stock. kinda sucked in the corners, lots of sway. and on softsports, why bother paying the ~150 for a .75 drop, you won't notice or feel it.

well, the one thing i can say is that a car looks nice if its low, but you'll hate daily driving...if you want more comfort than performance, just go with whatever you want to look at...i have sportlines right now on my 90 hatch and its a little too low for my needs, my car is a little heavier than stock though. i'm looking for some prokits or integra springs...i'd rather much have a good ride, especially around bad streets around sac...
In installing springs, don't forget to put everything back together. I didn't put the little rubber insulator at the top of the strut when I did my springs and I had to take it off again to get it back in there! If you forget something, it's a big waste of time to put it back in!
I have the Neuspeed sports also...perfect drop for me, I've had it on for about 4 months and haven't hit the bottom of my car yet...and my GF lives at the top of a dirt road, so it's pretty liveable. Also firms the handling up very nicely.

Ummm.. if you do an extreme drop, don't listen to HoMoCo here, do get a camber kit... it does wear the tires noticeably. But if your drop is minor don't bother. One thing you should note is that without an adjustable camber kit most shops won't touch your car for an alignment with a ten foot pole.
I second the Eibach sportline. A friend of mine has them with AGX struts and we love the ride.
For a period of time H&R didn't make the neuspeed springs.

I got a set of APC springs for $20 from a friend that lowered mine 2.5" and I haven't had any problems. The springs are pretty stiff so cornering is excellent. I don't really have problems with speed bumps unless they're excessively tall, and the ride isn't real bumpy like adjustable springs such as Ground Controls. My friend had Ground Controls on his CRX and mine rides 10X smoother and we both corner about the same, except he's running 16's and I still have the stock steelies.
H&R springs, The "Race" versions are pretty low and they are only $149 from King motorsports http://www.kingmotorsports.com/products/hr/

These pictures are more than 2 years old, so my car doesn't look like that anymore.... no rating/bashing/flaming my old pictures. This is for referance only. Of course I can't host them from geoshitties.

Oh yeah, and whoever mentioned it above... the Neuspeed and H&R springs are identical. H&R makes (or made) springs for Neuspeed.
