Default Spoon calipers and 15"

Does anyone know which 15x6.5 or 15x7 wheels can mate with the spoon calipers without spacers?
Other than stock wheels, I can't find any other wheels that will fit...

Any wheels with 35-38mm offset will do.

So you're saying that my +42mm offset 15" Spoon rims will clear those calipers if I reduce the offset to +38, by using a 4mm spacer?

You had previously told me to use an 8mm spacer, which would bring the offset down to +34.

I've got mazda rims and had to use 6mm spacers (though 5mm would have worked).

.....millenia rims are stock offset (+50mm) so that means you're at +44mm right now and fine on spoon calipers?

I wanna test a 15" slipstream on your car!

You also have to take into consideration the spoke design of the rim. Spoon rims have spokes that curves slightly inward instead of straight or even outward.

Anyone know why AUSM 15" wheels wont clear the spoon calipers? Is it because of inner wheel diameter or offset?

hmmmu got 42mm offset spoons?
i wonder how the hell it will fit Spoon calipers cos i had to shave down the Spoon ITR big brake conversion to get it to fit(OR ITR calipers to 4 lug) for my hatchie.
barely fits and have to run 1/8 inch spacer for saftey reasons...time for longer studs too

Someone Enlighten Us on Spoon Brakes and Wheels
AJ dont you have any sitting around to test fit

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying. Are you running Spoon calipers (w/ the ITR brake upgrade) on 4x100 sw388 rims? +45mm offset then right?

I got longer studs to anticipate the use of an 8mm wheel spacers (per AJ racing's instructions) to use a +42mm offset sw388 with the Spoon Calipers. I just can't find 8mm spacers anywhere, I'd hate to use wider spacers than necessary to avoid rubbing on the fenders.

Spoon sucks.

I have tried to put Spoon calipers with Spoon 15" wheels. You will need 7mm spacer to clear it .

Mario...Spoon offered a big brake upgrade in their products list which I have...
it is the 4 lug big brake setup using ITR calipers and a 4 lug 11 inch rotor(basically an ITR setup for a 4 lug GSRor civic running integra spindles)
My Spoons are 15 inch 35mm offset which I dont know will or willnot fit with the 4 piston Spoon caliper which Ive been considering getting, but I do know they will most likely fit under my 16 inch Spoons 45mm offset...

AJ which 15"Spoons did u test fit 15 or 16 and what offset

Okay, that's what I thought you said. I do understand that Spoon made a big brake kit (ITR size rotors). You're contemplating on whether or not a 35mm offset sw388 will fit? Here's my reasoning...

AJ Racing now said a 7mm spacer is needed to run Spoon calipers on 5lug spoon rims (+42mm offset).
And if my math serves me correctly, those two combines for a +35mm offset.

based on the theory above, using the +35mm offset rims offered by Spoon would clear the calipers.

All 16" sw388 will clear the calipers, just barely.

Im not so sure cos I had to shave quite a bit of material off the stock OR ITR calipers and still run a 1/8 inch spacer to clear the stock rotor safely for the 15 inch rim ET35mm,
what we need to do is find someone with the Spoon 4pot setup and see if they can test fit for us the 15 inch Spoons with the 35 and 42mm offset

All 16" sw388 will clear the calipers, just barely.

if this is so then I have no probs with the 16s I have
but my 15s are my race only set
cant run Advans all the time
and my Do1Js arent gonna last longer than 2 races if that

yup, sounds like a 15" spoon wheel *might* fit on spoon calipers without any spacers.....

Any other 15x7 wheels that WILL definitely fit over spoon calipers on dc2R?

Asspenny, you need to take one of Mike K's rota's to test fit.....

Spoon doesn't make 15" rims w/ +35mm offset in 5x114.3 bolt pattern. Only in 4 lug patterns.

Yeah, why would you ever use a reasonably priced wheel with very overpriced calipers! If you like wasting money, waste them on the wheels too!
