i'm tossing around the idea of running a steel SIR hood i can get for free (some dents i guess) in order to clear my F-to-D trans swap better... i dont really feel like getting a full SIR conversion, etc..and would probably mod the hood to get closer to the OEM lights later...but right away , i'd just run it flat black, and kicked up a bit to clear.


question is..

how much gap would there be between the hood and lights on the sides? i did about 10 minutes of searching, and didnt find anything? hood latch=no problem..i'll be running hood pins, as the turbo setup/IC/Radiator =hacked up latch area..
