? on buying a whip
ight im kinda new to the honda acura cars. dont know anything about the motors. ive owned plenty of german cars never looked under a hood of a jap car. ight i'm thinking of buying a 97 integra 157,000 miles gs-r mint just wanna know if that would be a smart idea being that it has that many miles on it for $3,000 if anyone can pls give me any feedback if this is a good deal or not. guy says it has racing 6 puck clutch from FALCON dont know if thats a good name brand and a couple of other things that he did. thx for reading or a stock 1994 gsr 190,000 miles mint for 3,900 female owned.

that "whip" is probably whipped...meaning its beat to ****...157,000 miles w/ a racing clutch and other **** for only $3000 should be a red flag....don't get burned buying someone else's POS unless you have the time and money to replace numerous things, quite possibly an engine in the near future
id push for 3000 cash personally...how many owners? accidents? service records? i would recommend getting a 1 month subscription to carfax....it won't show you 100% of everything, like if an accident occurred but wasn't filed...but it will give you enough info to make an informed decision

HI I HAVE A 1994 INTEGRA GS-R FOR SALE. THE CAR ONLY HAD ONE OWNER. I AM ASKING $3900 NEGOT. IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT BUYING THE CAR I WOULD CONSIDER TO LOWER THE PRICE. THE CAR HAS 190,000 MILES BUT RUNS AND LOOKS LIKE IT HAS 30,000. THE TIMING BELT AND WATER PUMP WERE CHANGED TWICE BY THE ACURA DEALER. ONE TIME WHEN THE CAR HAD 97,000 MILES AND THE SECOND TIME AT 181,000 MILES. THE OIL WAS CHANGED EVERY 3000 MILES ASWELL AS THE TUNE UP THAT WAS SONE ONCE A YEAR BY THE ACURA DEALERSHIP. THE CAR WAS ADULT DRIVEN. AND WAS NEVER ABUSED. THE CAR HAS 4 NEW TIRES ALL AROUND.YOU MUST SEE THIS CAR IN PERSON FOR YOURSELF TO REALLY SEE AND FEEL THE BEAUTY OF THIS CAR.

ight thx but if all is true do you think that motor could with stand the the upgrades ima put into it and also should i be looking for if and when the v-tec kicks in? and do you know a certain rpm or any tips on what i d be looking 4
If the service records show to be correct, this car sounds great. With a compression/leak down test you can have done at any mechanic will show how healthy the engine is. Base your questions off of those results. Honda/Acura engines are known to run for over 300,000 miles if treated right. The most I could see you having to replace if you, not her beat on the car is the piston rings which can be replaced.
