Default k-pro quiestion

so i =was gunho on buying k-pro this week BUT i need some inf0 first, can i send them my 05-06 ecu? or do i need to i need to get a damn 02-04 ecu and send them that? help would be aprreciated

If you have an 05-06, that ECU cannot be Kpro'd.

You need to have a 02-04 ecu and send that to them and you'll need a harness for your 05-06, plus the 02-04 primary o2 sensor.

It'll cost about 1400-1700 when you're done with it. Then you'll need a tune.

after u k-pro u shouldnt need the 02 sensors, u can just turn them off, so there is no point in buying them (02 sensor)

LOL!!

whew thanks.

ok.

Now you can disable the rear. But you DEFINITELY need the front (primary) sensor working. And yes you do need the 02-04 primary sensor as I mentioned above.

thanks d00des i just bought an 02-04 ecu from a guy on k20a.org its in the mail i will be purchasing k-pro probably tomarrow

tech-1 explained it pretty well excepted that you don't have to get a tune, it is better that you do though

depending on your current mods, you can find a calibration already in the program
pretty simple once you see it

hold on i thought 05-06 k20z models all u have to do is send in the ecu and with the wire harnes its set to go. i dint know u had to buy the 02-04 ecu????????

yep, we do
we lucky 05-06 owners have to purchase the additional o2 sensor + ecu + adapter harness
but trust me, its well worth it

dont worry d00de lol i didnt know that eighther until i had the credit card in hand to purchase k-pro hahaha, but i found an 02-04 ecu for 230 on k20.org thanks to Nikos here on HT and its in the mail as we speak, way btter price than what hondata or Clubrsx wants lol but from the stories i read it IS well worth it lol i cant wait

haha i hope damn so im looking to spend 1,400 for kpro??? damn haha so ill have my stock ecu around chilling huh? anyone know where i can get the 02-04 ecu and the o2 sensor.
