I have a 1991 cr-x si.and well i purchased the sir hood recently a friend showed me how to modify the latch to make it work on the usdm front.he doesn't live here any longer and now i purchased a sir front bumper w/out bupper support.i have not tried making it fit but it looks identicle pretty much(not style but mounting).if anyone has any idea if i can make the bumperfit on my car w/the usdm fenders,jdm hood and w/or w/out my bupper support i odnt mind taking that off.i just want to know if i can make this sucker fit on.thanks for any help in advance.

 

the fenders are fine. but you need the jdm t-bar. and you will also need headlights the jdm lights are larger,

 

The T-Bars look the same because they ARE the same, aside from the air duct in the EF8 (SiR) T-Bar. Other then that they are identical in latch lock locations. What you need is to A) Get the EF7 (JDM Si [with the DOHC ZC]) T-Bar, or B) Modify your old T-Bar by placing shims under the mounting hold and/or re drilling the bottom piece to pull down the location of the hood latch lock.

Heres a pic showing the difference, red is ZC, black is SiR.

 

You are going to need the sir bumper support. It stick out at least an inch further than the si.
