Clutch Cable Help !

The only problem I have with my entire drivetrain that drives me nuts is my clutch pedal squeeking because of the clutch cable!!! It was squeeking like hell so I replaced it about 500miles ago and it has been SMOOTH, but now the squeeking is back and I don't have the reciept(sp) anymore for this new one!

I don't want to buy another cable and it goes bad again so If anyone has any help or solution to this, PLEASE HELP!

where did you get the cable from? is it adjusted properly?

from autozone. It was adjusted so that it had a little slack at the start

i've never seen one that doesnt squeek.

really ? My original one that I had on the car for 155k miles didnt squeek until after 155k. The noise isnt as horrible as it makes the pedal feel "NOT" smooth at all, but spongy and rough.
