upgrading master cylinder: 15/16" 91 EX or 1" GSR or ITR?
i am trying to decide which master cylinder to get, the 15/16" out of the 90-91 EX or a 1" one from a GSR or ITR.
This is for a 91 Civic Si Hatchback, with the stock drums in back, SS lines front and rear, 90-91 EX knuckles, Fastbrakes 11" drilled and slotted rotors, Fastbrakes ITR spec calipers, and hawk pads.
I have the 15/16" unit in my CRX with EX knuckles and 10.2" rotors and it is great. It is a direct swap, and I don't need to change out the booster.
But I am wondering if the 15/16" unit will be enough with 11" rotors and ITR spec calipers. I know it would be more work to install the booster and get fittings for the lines to put the 1" master cylinder in. Is it worth it or will the 15/16 be fine?
