could a fuel pump go bad from just sitting?

its not the main relay cause i hear the "click"

i can take the line off the fuel rail and try to turn the car over and no fuel comes out of the line coming from the filter.


any ideas?

 

check the ground/s on the thermostat and engine.

 

check fuses and grounds

 

yea i know that the thermo ground was a little dirty and i dont know if its letting the pump kick on or not.

does it sound like it would not let the pump come on??
