Default Engine shuts off while drivng!

Its a 97 honda accord LX and the problem I am having is the engine just turns off while where at a light or as we are rolling towards a stop and sometimes while I am driving. I guess you can say it stalls but when it goes off, I dont even notice it and when the light goes green and I go to gas it...nothing happens and I look down at the dash and all the lights are on like the key was on the on position. Lately we kinda stared to listen for noises so that if the engine kills its self we would notice it and so we just listen for the door to unlock - lock - unlock- lock and than it goes out. What can be the problem? Its not throwing a CEL or anything...and it runs fine while its on. Any takers?

UPDATE: I think it might be something electrical like her alarm killing her whole car. Not to long ago her alarm started to act kinda wierd. The led light doesnt blink anymore, it just stays on all the time and it doesn't make the chirp noise any more when you arm the alarm. Today while I was going about 35mph the car shut itself off completely so I had to roll it to a stop and start it back up. When the car died while I was still going everything completely shut off like as if I was to turn the key completely off. The radio turned off, the clock went off, the instrument lights went off...the only thing that stayed on was the headlight because it was still switched on. What can be the problem?
