Im a newbie to this site and I have a 99 si, electron blue, oem mid wing spoiler, apexi n1 exhaust, dc header, aem intake, skunk2 coilovers, rear sway bars... I should have a street fighter 2 kit on tuesday(if the shipping company is right) and I want to buy some motegi mr7 silvers(now), koni or tokico shocks(mid june), and a jr or vortech supercharger(july) ..... Think all that would give me a lot of show and a **** load of go? Comments would be cool, I dont post for my health

 

Well, I'm not to hip on the body kit. With all the stuff you have, I'd say stick with the OEM stuff.
Street Fighter body kits are a little lame..as with all the other ones out there.

Not sure about the 17" rims. Stick with 16's, you'll be straight.

Do not a get a body kit. After about a month the fiberglass will be so cracked that you wish you'd never taken off your stock front bumper.

That's why he has a second car. Sorry but I think all stock is plain. I'm not saying go gaudy, but I like the SF kit. I think his **** will be blinging and when he posts pics, you guys will be like damn thats tight. Instead of saying don't do that, why don't you give suggestions on the go part since you guys are into that.

 

Basically...look around, most people that have civics here, either have a swap, turbo or another variant.

We are into go fast, not look fast.

i show my car at shows sometimes, but I don't have a body kit, or neon lights, or a system or anything else of that nature.

 

Don't ruin your si with a bodykit. Rims are enough to give you an aggressive stance.

 

Personally.. I want to be in Hot Import Nights, the Import Revolutions, etc... I love the way body kits look on some cars, but tell me if I had a supercharged si that any of you would honestly complain?

i don't really have experience with them so I can't pick one over the other. I'd say go with either and you'll be happy.

Street Fight is alright as long as its painted to match your car, unlike the retards around here Get Vortech, more power, more torue, but not that much faster, to be honest. It's like $1000 more than Jackson but you get a intercooler.
