Default 95 ls Overheating.

Alright i have a 95 ls and like i said earlier i changed my thermostat, all my radiator and heater hoses. I recently changed my water pump as well. When my car is on and at a complete standstill like at a red light for too long or just sitting in the parking lot with the car on the temp. guage will reach past the middle mark and continue to rise. But when i am driving at a constant 20mph or more the guage will read regular temperature. I was told that it could be a blown head gasket, so i will be doing a compression test. Or that i didnt properly bleed my radiator, i will do that right now actually. But i was just wondering if anyone else had anymore insight as to what could be causing the overheating. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

Did you bleed the air out of the cooling system after you filled up all your fluids?
