Default security for gsr

just purchased my first gsr what would you guys recommend for security? ie. detachable steering wheel, kill switch, best alarm money can by. I'm a little paranoid cause i have had a civic jacked before. any advice would help thanks.

The best effective mods are going to be detachable steering wheel, kill swich, nice alarm system, but no matter what if someone wants your car..

They'll get it.. Even if it takes a tow truck

I always avoid from parking in certain areas, if you park at stores park in front of the cameras.. or better yet drive your girls car.

one of mine drives a ej8 on gt3.so i dont think that would work for me. haha

agreed on all parts nothin worse than gettin your car jacked the night before your going to get your struts installed and they are in the trunk...worst feeling ever!!

get a autolock that should help a lil bit. rewire the hood cable and unlatch your door lock from the outside.

what you listed already is good enough. Layers of security will only slow down or turn the thieves around....but if they really want your car, they'll take it.

alarm, autolock, quick release steering wheel, and kill switch. do whatever it takes to make it hard for a thief to steal your car.

autolock sucks ***! ive heard of a number of people still getting their cars stolen even with an autolock... its gonna take a lot more than an autolock to slow theives down.

^^^^intense...to start ur security layers u can buy a quickrelease and hub for a detachable steering wheel...i got a place that will sell u qr hub and steering wheel for 200....maybe 20 bucks shipping cuz its in CA...let me kno if ur interested heres a pic of my set up....





(((its a NRG qr and hub by the way)))

They don't make them any more they float around the internet from time to time if ur lucky you can find one for around 200 dollars
