Is this the car you are talking about?

If so, it is running in GTL now with Joe Christensen. I paddocked next to him at the Runoffs last year. He qualified on the pole and finished second. I have his contact info if you are in need of it.

Running GTL or GT3 basically means TUBEFRAME chasis and lots of custom work.. .

If it is competitive, it will be a tube chassis front engine rear drive configuration. Should be setup with a G-force gear box to allow reverse rotation of the quick change rear end. Most GT cars use the same chassis. Dual a-arms front and solid axle in the rear. They are really fast (relatively).

Am I correct in thinking they have to run older engines in that class? I kind of remember reading that fuel injection was a new thing they were trying...

Front-Drive tube frame cars in GT-4 and GTL have been kicking *** for years. GTL is dominated by tube frame CRX's. So you don;t need to be RWD to be competitive.

Joe's car(the one pictured above) is RWD, tubeframe, and runs a restricted GSR engine in it, it is FI, but I believe it uses ITBs. In GTL, they have different weights and SIR sizes depending on what engine you run, for a Honda you can run any D or B series I think. And I'm pretty sure the GTL CRX's that have won in the past with Dentici and others are RWD. Most of them were built by Mugen or Comptech back in the day when GT4 and GT5 were very competitive in SCCA racing.

I remember seeing the King Motorsports GT3 CRX at the June Sprints at Road America 2 summers ago. From what I remember, it was a single cam FWD.
