yes they make springs that will lower your car

coilovers are for if you want to adjust your ride height every now and then.

the popular springs would be eibachs or teins
depending how low you go, you might want to think about installing a adjustable rear camber kit at the same time of the install

yes, stock 05-06 are 17inches

i'm guess you own a 02-04 or a 05-06 base since you have 16s

it will still look good, i think i have another pic of a friend's car with the stock 16s on his 02-04 with sportlines

Dude, I'd go with the Tein or K-Sport coil over kits. Then you don't have to worry about blowing out your stock struts and/or getting a crappy ride since the coil overs come with struts designed for the drop. I personally want the K-Sports(designed by the original drift king himself).

the back might sit lower than the front (common problem for dc5s)
just check out wotm.com and look them up for prices and specs on sportlines
glad to help

i've had my stock shocks on sportlines for almost a year now with no problems
and yes, i will upgrade eventually
probably in koni yellows
i have no reason to invest in a set of 800-1000 coils if i have no intentions of changing my ride height
i'm happy with my current drop

having a mild drop also prolongs the life of your stock shocks
i know someone with a pro-kit that lasted 4 years without a blown shock

I agree. it does vary on your ride style and road conditions. koni's are nice my buddy got them with his springs and they are great so far. Tein springs are great if you just want springs.

i have the Neuspeed Race springs and they have no flaws whatsoever. i drive my car fairly hard at times, and sometimes i will take it easy on the steering wheel and the gas pedal. either way the car drives perfectly fine. im on factory shocks as well.

as for the wheel well gap . yeah theirs not too much left . heres a before and after pic

thanks guys, i just noticed the skunk 2 has the same inch drop as the neuspeed so i may go with them there a little cheaper, but i realy dont wont the back to sit lower than the front so ill cross my finges, why does the back sit lower with those springs is it because of such a big drop

neuspeed is pretty cool if you really wanna drop that much but ur shocks may die very soon. I'm using S-tech now and it does it job.
