Omni Power Coil Overs
Im about to buy new suspension since the tracks just opened, for my daily driven hatch, I want to be able to hook up at the track this year. Ive searched but didnt find much on these particular coil overs, hust the drags ones. So Ive been looking into Omni Powers Drag setup F=12k R=18K, but its seems as though its a little rough for a daily driver especially here in Washington. So im leaning towards the Sport Setup F=12k R=10K or the Adjustable Damping F=8k or 10k R=12k or 10k
1 Will either of these even work well for drag racing?
2 Which more than the other?
Thanks

the front doesnt matter as much as the rear. you just want stiff rear. 18k will suck *** for daily driver. so i would go adjustable damping 10kfront 12k rear.
also if you have any extra cash, buy a traction bar.

personally i would just beef up the rear and put a traction bar up front

The front omni's do a ton for traction by limiting rebound. Definitely do the whole set. "traction bars" are the most over rated suspension piece there is. lol

LOL
Well I do take your point about the front shocks and makes good sense it really dose
Personally though I just beefed up the back and bar the front and worked fine for my goals and best part of all was cheaper lol.........
and when your SOHC cost is always an issue LOL.......

I have completley stock suspension right now with only a taction bar, so it looks like the 10k 12k damping coil overs will do the job

I was wondering about this? Why are they over rated? I really don't know.. thats why i'm asking.

i from my experience the L-con traction bar works great, i used to get bad wheel hop, and i never had it since. and supposably they help your 60'ft. i havent got any better than a 1.6 60' however my 60'ft. times have been alot more consistant with the traction bar.
and you can actully feel a big difference on the street.
great investment in my eyes
