These posts kinda annoy me......... because it solely depends on how much power you want, money you want to spend, how easy or hard you want the swap to be and what type of use the swapped car is getting.

Cheap: Sohc Vtec
Low Budget: B18B1 with TypeR Tranny. (Matt Dahl Spec)
Low/Mid Budget: B20B or Z with TypeR Tranny or GSR tranny (Joe R Spec)
Middle Budget: H22A (More difficult changeover) (Newman Spec)
Middle Budget: B18C1 Complete Changeover (Ed Spec)
Higher Budget: B18C5 Complete Changeover (Jayson S. / Jeff Sloan Spec)
Expensive: Forced Induction on any of the above.

Basically make your own choice as to what you want to spend and what you are going to be using the car for: Daily Driver/ Sleeper Rocket, Road Race Machine, Drag Queen, and or combination.

Hope the breakdown on budget kinda helped. Surf like Sohfast.com or got to www.hybridautomotive.com to ask swap prices as well as labor costs if you are not gonna do it yourself.
