ok lets try again....would swapping an Accord F23 SOHC Vtec into my 90 hatch DX be a reasonable swap if i can get the motor from a junkyard and rebulid it...if anyone has researched this or has any info please let me know....thanks

When you figure in the cost of rebuilding the motor, it probably isn't worth it. It's basically as much work as an H22 swap for less power. If you got a nice running F for free, and you're good with swaps, then maybe. Otherwise, I'd let it go.

 

f and h series engines are very similar, and both involve major cutting of the frame to shoehorn in. not worth it in my opinion, i would rather get an h22 if i was going through all the trouble to hack up the frame
