ok well i just swapped in a d16z6 into my 88 civic hatch and everythign works except there is no spark. it tries to turn over, my fuel pump works and everythign but there is no spark. im almost 100 percent shure all the wiring is right, the only thing that could possibly be wrong with the wiring is the two white wires for the distributer that i could have switched around, if anyone knows what the white wires do n which one goes to what. also i have a hasport obdo to obd1 harness and theres 2 wires that are for the checc engine lite and it says either connect them to ground or toggle switch. i have them hooked up to ground n when i have the key turned, the checc engine light flashes like 8 or 9 times so when u connect it to ground does it just send the ecu code straight to youre checc engine lite? if anyone could help me out i would really apreciate it mah car has not been runnin for like a monthe because of this. also the code foe it flashing 8 or 9 times says top dead center sensor and #1 cylinder position sensor or something and both of those are in the distributer and i jsut bought a new distributor and it still doesnt work. please please help me thank u so much
