I did a search for this in all the forums, can't find what I'm looking for.

What does Stage 1, 2, 3 etc mean when we are talking about clutch kits?

I am thinking that the higher the number the more "race" the clutch, is that right?

 

The stages all depend on the manufacturer. But generally 1 is street and then it goes up from there to full race.
