This is for the people looking for a GT3567R dyno numbers and for the people wondering if it would get close to 700hp or over 700hp

Car put down so far 648hp and 372tq on 25lbs.
I don't have the dynosheet for this pull...mase hasn't sent it to me yet but he did send me my 639hp and 367tq dynosheet. Alternator was going bad on the dyno so fuel pressure was dropping because the fuel pump wasn't getting enough voltage. We replaced the alternator but didn't get a chance to redyno. We will do it soon and will be upgrading the fuel system and turning up the boost a little more. Hopefully close to 700hp or maybe more with new fuel system....crossing fingers! Turbo is laggier than a regular GT35R and meant for top end power.

nice numbers,

gives me hope for my gt3567r, FR topmount and nitrous.

although i'm on a stock head with .5mm oversized values and a ported skunk2 intake manifold.

walbro fuel setup? or something bigger?

what were the injector's duty cycle looking like?

I'm not too sure of the duty cycle of the injectors. I'm waiting for Mase to get back with me on everything. I have one 255lph hp walbro intank fuel pump right now. Dwight from Stage 6 is trying to think of a way to do dual walbro intanks and we'll also be upgrading the fuel lines. Car still has stock fuel lines. You'll be very pleased with the GT3567R if you don't mind the lag.

Get it to the track and make sure its locked up.

 

I can't wait to get it to Gainesville to see what it can do. I'm ready to put the DSS axles to some good use!!! Still working on the suspension...that's next.

You can say that again, that's a crazy powerband for such a large turbo! Is that a .82?

 

Looks like it spools almost identical to a P trim T67. I'm looking at a dyno sheet from the last one i did, it's got 396wtq at 6400. I guess it's true, the 3567 does not have the spool of the 35r with the power of the 67...

haha, I remember when I bought mine, you told me, why have spool worse than the gt4088r and less power..

I do enjoy my gt3567r, it was great all last year, but is a bit laggy, although i have the 1.06ar on mine. Then again, I have nitrous on my car, so a 80 shot really gets the car going.

 

i dont get it?? whats a GT3567R? is that the turbo from full race?

i thought that was just a GT35r with a 67 a/r housing?

Its a GT35r turbing and center section with a T67 compressor wheel/housing .70 a/r compressor.

What are you all considering Laggy? Although i havent taken mine over 16 psi yet this turbo spools very well for me. 16 psi 4500rpm and it would go full boost not much later then 5000. starts slow yes 5 psi 3800 but when it hits 4500 the boost gauge flies up. The BB is for better reposnce in between shifts and only shows minimal gains in initial spool over a standard bearing t3/t67ho. or thats what ive seen from dyno graphs.

I guess ill find out when dyno time comes. I hope to be tuning in the next two months with my new bottom end and some other goodies

Depends on what you want to do with it.

 

weekend street/drag car only definetely not for daily driver lol

 

Interesting, this is the turbo I have now, I have a similar setup. I made 637whp 420+ torq with an off the shelf gt35r .82ex

I'm hoping for atleast 720 with it.

 

Congrats on a good power. I'm sure that would be fun to drive around. My friend have a similar setup as you but w/ a small turbo and almost a log manifold not like full=race. We hope to make a little over 600whp w/ his SC61 turbo. Good job there.

well mine didn't really reach full boost until 5800rpms for 20psi+ but like i said earlier its a 1.06ar. Although I just purchased a full-race topmount and 4in downpipe, so I'm hoping with a better flowing manifold, it should spool better. Then again, this was 20+psi boost alone, when the spray kicked in at 4500rpms, the turbo will spool instantly to which every boost level I want.

with a smaller AR it will probably spool just fine, but the gt35r will spool better and still get you to 600whp. If you are shooting for more power, may just want to consider the gt4088r.

hey Vspec is this for Marvin's car that you're working on with the SC61?

Mase was tuning on the dyno dynamics dyno but we were having to do 5th gear pulls and the dyno only went to 150mph....so we had to move about 20 feet over to the dynojet. 2 dyno's within 20 - 25 feet of each other at stage 6. lol
