im tied between buying new sets of components:

CDT Audio EF-61FG/TW25 PRO 6.5 in.
Alpine spx-177r 6.5 in.
RE Audio RE6.5 COMP 6.5 in.
MB Quart PCE216 6.5 in.

they will be in a 97 ex coupe with 100w rms to each accompanied by 2 12" alpine type-r subs with 1000w rms. i listen to 50 percent metal/50 percent rap.

 

Have you heard these?

 

ive heard the alpines and cdt's...not the others. i really like the cdt's so i think im going with those.

 

I would probably go with the CDT's as well. Does that set come with silk dome tweeters?

 

yea. they're tw25 tweeters i believe...

 

My prefernce would be the CDT's or the Type-R's.
