stupid dist question.

Default stupid dist question.

i had to hard wire my obd0 dist cause i couldnt find or get a a6 dist plug.

and now the car has no power at all... there are 2 tan wires that are identical... could i have wired those 2 backwards and thats why i get no power at all?

i checked all the grounds and everything. thats the last thing i can think of that was kinda scetchy

are you replacing a si distributor or doing a mpfi swap?

sounds like you should double check ALL your wiring. the two "identical" dizzy wires are acctually different thicknesses, just mach them up.

but on the distriubter there the same size.

are you sure? all the mpfi swaps ive done they are clearly different guages. idk

yea i just checked right when you said that. on the harness there different sizes, i see where you got that. but then i looked on the dizzy and there the same size.

so you still havent wired the swap completely yet?? and your asking why your car has no power?

everything else is wired up. just one ecu pin the the b12 slot i believe. but that shouldnt result in no power at all.

b12- crank angle sensor.. it might result in no power.. wire everything up and then see what happens.. if it still has no power maybe your wires are mixed up.

fixed it. still doesnt start up but i didnt expect it too. throwing a code 10 but im sure thats cause the last ecu pin. thanks for your help.

if you search for these things you could find the answers yourself
10 IAT - intake air temperature sensor
nothing to do with your distributor.. but you may need b12 wired up for the car to start.. are you getting spark?

why dont you just wire up b12!!!???

cause i had to add it for the multi point swap, that wire goes to c1 or c2. its either b 10 or 12 i need to put in.
