OMG my car smokes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't belive it my car smokes and it only does it when i rev around 7k-8k can anyone tell me the problem. i checked my spark plugs no oil and the car is not leaking oil. the car runs hard but it smoes when i run it hard and i also checked my oil and i was missing a quart. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know the stock limit for the Z6 is 7400, and that taking it to 8000 serves no purpose on a stock valve train other than to say you did it.
Burning oil can enter the combustion chamber from
- Valve Seals
- Piston Rings
Compression test + Leakdown test are your friends.

redline at 9200?? do you have stock internals? i hope not. i think reving to 8 k is probably what done it.. do the compression and leak down tests like the guy said.

The 4800 RPM point for VTEC is right, but the 9200 is DANGEROUSLY wrong. At that point your rod bolts are going to slack off (puns intended) on their job, your water pump is probably near the point of cavitation (if it's not there), need I go on?

but if it's my piston rings i would have oil in my spark plug yes or no?

Not necessarily, oil on the spark plugs just says that there is an abundance of oil in the combustion chamber. The only way that you are losing oil without an external leak is through...the combustion chamber. What you need to do is a compression test to first get a 'feel' of the state of the cylinders.
check your compression if it has low compression in a piston poor some oil threw the spark plug hole then crank up the enigne again. your compression will go up trust me.. it might be bad piston rings. i had a b16 once and i threw out blue smoke when i revved it to much at 8100rpm i took it apart turns out i had bad piston rings..
