Code 16 & 43 B18A1 CRX. Help
Okay so my engine is intermittently throwing codes 16 and 43 (Fuel Injectors & Fuel Supply System) with the current symptoms.
-Excessive Greyish smoke from exhaust
-Engine wont rev past 5k, pops, stutters, and bounces near 5k. (rev limit is 7200)
-The car isnt nearly as fast as it should be.
I compression tested yesterday and came out with 180psi with a 5 psi tolerance on all four cylinders. The valvetrain was replaced 2000 miles ago, along with most of the other internals. The head was also milled, bored and resleeved .02" over during the process.
Anyone have any idea as to what's going on?

I know the code 16 is set when there is a break in the electrical path for the injector circuits. (Main relay, injector coils, wiring, etc). If the injectors don't pulse when they should, the code 43 could pop up, I suppose. The ECU grounds each injector to 'fire' it based on input signals from the distributor and trims the pulse with input from other sensors in closed loop. I know I didn't pinpoint the cause of the problem, but hopefully this information may help point you in the right direction to finding it.
