Default a spec in the US?

I found this on ebay and fell in love and was wondering if the A Spec is able to be driven in the US or if the Type S is as close as I can get. I love the stock lips, etc.

Well, considering you can go buy an A-Spec at any dealer. They are drivable on the roads. All the a-spec consists of are lips, wheels, and suspension. thats it

what are the suspension upgrades? I wonder if it would be cheaper to buy a regular tl and use the a-spec body pieces, etc.

I think that with the money you would spend at the dealer for the A-spec, you could go aftermarket with coilvers for adjustability, a better sway bar, and a RonJon kit for less money. Its just an option worth looking into.
