Umm what scale was that motor. It was hard to tell if it was full size or one of those mini motors. Nice video though.

I couldn't imagine how much one of those blocks would cost. Is it just me, or did the adjoining cylinder walls look rather thin?

Its an aluminum block so it is going to recieve some type of cylinder liner/sleeve.

are you sure? i know thats whats the Bugatti has but i thought the Bugatti had twin vr8 motors mounted at 90* with a custom crank. But then again it could have just be vr8 architecture, i'm not really sure

A W8 engine is a Volkswagen eight cylinder piston engine in a W configuration, or two juxtaposed 15 degree V4 engine blocks, mounted at 72 degrees to one another and coupled to one crankshaft

That was interesting to watch.

Never knew how a w16 was configured.
It's like two vr6 engines combined into a w12. Except the vr6 would have to be a vr8. I guess so it would be 16....

Honda should try something like that with the k/f series.
8000rpm 5.0 dohc vtec v8.
Then mimic bmw's m-coupe. Turn the s2k into a hard top. Call it the s-coupe.

Have you seen a cut-away of an old single prop airplane engine? There are parts and pistons moving in every direction. Nuckin' Futs!
