tire sizes for 17 on a 5th gen help
i bought a set of 17 blitz rims they came with 225,45,17 tires
i was wondering they seemed a bit wide could i drop to a 215,45,17 or should i stick with the 225,45,17

I am running on 215/40/17 offset 48mm. Do you know the offset on the blitz rims? Is your car lowered at all?
If you are lowered and have low offset (like 40mm), I am pretty sure the tires are going to rub. 215/45/17 would be safer, but let me know the offset and how much you are lowered.
