Default Can someone help!!

I have a 1995 Honda Accord, and while im moveing its fine but as soon as i slow down almost to a dead stop i hear a ticking sound coming from the engine!!! Or i can just sit in park and let it idol and it will do the same about ever 2 to 3 mins!!!! It almost sounds like somethying is hitting the fann and then slowing the fan down to a complete stop!!!! I have check the fan and nothing is hitting it at all, does anyone here know anything about this or what it could be!!!!! Thanks please get back ASAP!!!! THANKS

With the engine off, grab and <U>shake</U> the fan, the shroud around it, and things nearby, like the radiator. Is there anything loose that might cause the clanging?

Also OPEN THE HOOD then watch and listen as the fans cycle while at idle.
