Default double check please, timing belt/wp change

okay, so i am gettin ready to change the original timing belt and waterpump on the 123k mile motor!!! grandpa didnt know they needed changed, lol. i am gettin my parts from majestichonda.com unless u guys recommend a cheaper place. anyways, this is what i was thinking i needed, please tell me what else. i want to do it the right way and not half-assed. i only want to use oem honda for the belt, tensioner, and waterpump. might get gaskets from advanced if u guys think they are of quality and cheaper.

1. timing belt
2. tensioner
3. valve cover gasket w/ plug hole o-rings
4. water pump
5. water pump gasket
6. thermostat
*now tell me if these are necessary or not*

thats about it I would get a new alternator belt as well sice it will be off you might as well replace it, if you have ac or power steering change those as well. other than that, some new coolant and you are set. If you want to pm me I can get all those parts much cheaper for you

You don't NEED to do all that stuff, you can reuse valve cover gasket, just wipe off the oil and put it back on, same with spark plug O rings, I've never replaced those.

It may be cheaper to just go to the dealership's parts dept. When I buy parts, I go to the dealership, prices are the same as majestic's, and I don't pay for shipping.

thanks, but my valve cover gasket already took a ****. it is leaking onto the heat shield for the header and smells like hell when i park and get out. needs done anyways. thanks for ur input, i will have to see if the gas to drive to my dealership is the same as shipping. easier to stay home if it costs the same. do u call ahead and order, or does ur dealer usually stock all that crap?
