Im currently rebuilding a ZC engine for my friend. Removed the main bearings and 4 of them have a brown/red color, it could be even orange and the middle bearing is clearly green.

My question is, what bearings do I use? Can I use the D16a1 bearings? Also, how can I tell whats the exact color of the brownish ones are? I cant find any info on this damn motor. If anyone has a link where I can get a Helms manual for this thing, Id owe you a cold one. Or if you could give me the specs on the bearings.

 

im not 100% sure but if its a sohc zc then use an a6 main bearing if its a dual overhead cam I would say use a a1 main bearing

 

Yeah, its a 92 DOHC Integra engine as far as I know.

 

92 dohc integra would be a b18a... if its a zc dohc, it uses d-series bearings. you can use a6 or a1 bearings they both will work.

 

I was told it was from a 92 and that the lesser model Integra's in Japan kept the ZC till 92. Ehh...whatever year it came from. I guess Ill have to go with the a1 bearings, thanks guys.
