Ok I am stuck w/ header to get for my car, Im not a weekend racer, just like to cruise and go fast when needed, so i dont think Im really willing to spend 5-1000 $ for a header alone for my car, so im kinda stuck. Should I just get this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...sting since I dont really have any big number goals just want something w/ more power over oem junk.
Because I have been wanting to get JDM header, or DC jdm header, but both require 2 1/2 collector, donut and test pipe to fit factory exhaust and you spend quite a bit for all that. See where Im getting w/ this.. I just want to bolt and go and get good power for the $.

dc sux in my opinion, and the oem header isn "junk" but ive seen people use them, never on itr's tho. I'd opt for the jdm header

 

The absolute best header choice for you would be the JDM ITR 4-1. It is without a doubt the best header you can buy for the money.

Yea I wanted to get that or JDM DC sports header "the real one", but like I said you have to get all the other stuff to make it work, so you are already about $600 deep into a header

 

You can find a jdm 4-1, gasket, and tespipe for under $400. Just do some shopping. It may not be a quality TP, but it will work. As for the gasket, i believe a mid 90's dodge caravan donut gasket works for $20 from the parts store.

 

I would tell you not to but DC Sports headers.

JDM DC just means DC made a replica of the JDM header.

 

I bought my JDM header with heatshields and skidplate for only 300.00 shipped (used). Its probably the best header for the money.

 

leave it stock or get jdm 4-1 if you dont wanna spend too much. but i dont think you will gain enough power for you to even notice if you dont change the collector size.

but it seems like to me that bottle of nos will do your satisfaction better.
just push that button when you need to go fast
