Default Wot do stock air boxes look like???

I know this is a bit ghey but the other day I was having my car serviced and I was having a poke about in the engine bay I noticed a pipe coming from the bottom of the aitbox, It went down about a foot the out towards the wheel, and then went into something that looked like another box. Just wondering if this is standard or not. if so it should be quite easy to modify this into some sort of DIY icebox. Any pics of a complete airbox assembly would be good so I could compare againt mine.

Thanx

That second box is the resonator. It's for dampening the intake noise.
