I guess there isn't enough space to put the ITR-gearbox in a CRX VTEC. A few guys over here tryed to swap a B18C6 with the gearbox and they all had to take the CRX (EE8) gearbox, 'cause the box of the R was to big.

best thing to do is get a JDM spec Integra RSi or XSi gearbox with LSD, the ratios are the same but its cable activated and bolt up to the B16a and CRX chassis without the problem (just swap the VSS) and clutch to 92+ specs such as Type R

Is the CRX bay that much smaller than the hatch bay? I'm just wondering because I put the ITR gearbox(along with motor) into my 91 Hatch and I had none of the fitment problems people described to me that would happen. I fit the transmission housing with no problems, everyone always ask me how I shoe horned the engine/transmission in, but I just put it in from the top very slowly. I'll have pictures soon of the custom motor mount I made, and here is a pic of that tranny in the engine bay.

looks very nice, but the engine looks like it's leaning slightly? did you use a mount kit like HASport or HCP, or is everything custom?

When I took the picture the driver's side engine mount had washers on it to clear the hood, so it was leaning slightly back than, but no more. I used HCP mounts all around and custom welded the transmission one for the ITR's case.
